    James studied at University of Dundee and Hochschule Mainz, qualifying with a distinction. His work has been exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academies: New Contemporaries and the RSA Annual Exhibition. He has been a guest lecturer at Oxford Brookes University. Before starting his own practice James worked for Spratley & Partners and Morrow+Lorraine. He lives in Oxfordshire with his wife and their two small children.

We realise that you may be undertaking a project for the first time and likely haven’t worked with an architect before. Undertaking a project is exciting, but it can be daunting and overwhelming. Construction projects are often complex but our role is to guide you through the process step-by-step so you can feel confident and empowered with a better understanding of your project from inception to completion.

To achieve this we have crafted three principal Workstages; 1 - Design & Planning, 2 - Technical Design & Building Regulations and 3 - Construction & Completion. This approach divides a project into a client friendly framework whilst also aligning with our ways of working and industry standards.

Most of our clients work with us across all three Workstages but we also offer our services on a stage-by-stage basis depending on your specific needs and experience.
